Brass 4-Bolt for Hot and/or Pressurized Water Service

Application
The 8400 Series Senior gauges were specially designed for hot and/or pressurized-water service on dishwashers, boilers, engine radiators, marine vessels (water or fuel), and fire trucks.

General Information & Features

The 8400 Series gauges are available in gear-action models for top, centerline or angle mounting. Lever-action models are available for centerline mounting.

These gauges are mounted by using four #0040-00424 bolts, 5⁄16″ — 24 x 9⁄16″, and a UL recognized #0015-00004 Buna-N gasket. The standard float is stainless steel. Nitrile rubber or an FDA approved polypropylene float are also available. For marine applications, #0040-00478 stainless steel mounting bolts should be used.
